This opportunity was presented to me at work and I decided to run as my first ever race as I cannot think of a better cause to raise money and awareness for.

While part of the Challenge is running a 5k I think the most important part is to try to raise money and awareness for this cause. This is why I have decided to use my platforms and my art to increase and encourage those donations.

Anyone who makes a donation of at least $25 will receive a custom piece of art made by me (similar to the one I made to honor the pulse victims, just smaller in size.)  I will cover all US shipping cost, and materials all you have to do is donate.

Donations will need to be made on or before Dec 8, 2018. They will need to be at least $25 and you must complete the form below so that I can properly contact you. Once I verify your donation I will send you an email keeping you updated on the status of your art piece.

All pieces will be made the week following Dec 8, 2018, and you will receive your piece before Dec 25, 2018. Art pieces might be received sooner depending on the number of pieces I need to complete. So please scroll all the way down and donate through the donation link below so that I can verify your donation.  All the money you donate will go directly to Give Kids the World.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading]What is Give Kids The World?[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Give Kids The World is an amazing nonprofit organization like Make-A-Wish that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families allowing them to get away from their reality and make unforgettable and priceless memories as a family.

Give Kids The World story begins with Amy a little girl who had leukemia, a wish to visit the Orlando theme parks and a man with a desire to make that wish come true. To make this wish come true a respected hotelier was asked to provide complimentary lodging accommodations for Amy and her family, which they gladly granted. However, the remainder of Amy’s travel plans took too long to arrange and sadly her wish was never granted. Amy passed away before her wish was fulfilled.

This unfulfilled wish inspired the hotelier to make a vow that no child in need would ever be failed again, and Give Kids the World was founded.

When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, their family’s life becomes full of unexpected and unpredictable challenges, from doctor appointments to hospital stays and medical treatments.

But for one week, children and families have the chance to laugh, play and simply spend time together – both at the Village and at Central Florida’s world-class theme parks and attractions.

Give Kids The World Village becomes a home-away-from-home during their once-in-a-lifetime trip and it doesn’t cost the families a cent.

This is why my company Magical Vacation Homes and I have joined them in their mission by taking on the Challenge for Hope. And I’m inviting you to be a part of this amazing mission. I’ll be raising money and racing with my fellow Challengers as we all walk, run, roll or stroll through the Village.
